General Membership meeting coming up

The annual General Membership meeting is coming up next week (January 11th). There will be the usual elections for annual Officers (President, Vice-President and Treasurer) and for a number of the Board of Trustee positions. See the most recent newsletter for a list of who is running for what position. Nominations from the floor are also welcome, but potential candidates must provide proof of a minimum of three consecutive years of membership to be eligible per the By-Laws. Speaking of which... there is another change to the By-Laws up for approval by the General Membership at this meeting. The short version is that it institutes language to avoid having any 'conflict of interest' involving officers or board members voting on contracts between the Club and other parties. Women-only Handgun Training

NCW Gun Club and the Wenatchee Firearms Academy have started hosting special women-only handgun classes. If you or someone you know wants to get familiar with handguns in a low-key, no pressure environment, swing by one of our fine area gun stores (see links at the bottom of the page) and pick up some information!
